ABOUT LALPURKISAN
A producer company built by farmers — for the long arc of rural prosperity.
We are a registered Farmer Producer Organisation operating across 142 villages of the middle Gangetic plain. Our work begins where the village ends — at the soil, the seed, and the household balance sheet.
A countryside in which every smallholder farmer earns a dignified, climate-resilient living from one ancestral acre.
To aggregate, equip, and amplify our member farmers — replacing fragility with collective strength at every link of the agricultural value chain.
CORE VALUES
The four commitments that shape every choice we make.
Farmer Sovereignty
Every strategic decision is ratified by elected member representatives. No external shareholder can override a producer vote.
Ecological Integrity
We treat soil, water, and seed as commons — to be returned to the next generation richer than we found them.
Transparent Stewardship
Audited books, open procurement registers, and quarterly cluster meetings keep every rupee accountable.
Long Horizon Thinking
We invest in five-year programmes — not seasonal interventions — because farming itself is a generational craft.
OUR JOURNEY
From forty-three founders to a four-thousand-member cooperative.
The First Forty-Three
Founded by forty-three smallholders from Lalpur and surrounding panchayats, officially incorporated and registered under the Companies Act 2013 as a Producer Company.
First Procurement Centre
Opened a community-managed paddy procurement centre serving eleven villages to streamline regional crop consolidation.
Mechanisation Pool
Pooled member contributions paired with specialized institutional credit lines to commission a shared fleet of tractors and harvesters.
Organic Cluster Certification
Achieved comprehensive organic cluster certifications across multiple localized producer groups.
Direct Trade Channels
Began supplying commodities directly to targeted processing channels, successfully bypassing multiple traditional layers of middlemen.
Today
Serving thousands of member farmers with a robust, federated structure of active primary producer groups across the region.
